A roughly 4.5-inch utility knife from the Lake Series, in AEBL steel with a Richlite handle. It's made for small prep like shallots, onions and hulling strawberries.
Known because it’s the headwaters of the Mississippi, the Itasca utility shape is there at the beginning of most meals.
Its ~4.5 inch length makes it great for most small prep tasks from onions and shallots to simply removing the top of strawberries.
Good for generally smaller things. Small produce, cheese, berries and such. But not packages.
- Blade: AEBL
- Handle: Richlite
- Handle colors: Basalt, Midnight, Sandbar
- Basalt, the dominant rock type on Minnesota’s North Shore
- Midnight, the best time to stargaze
- Sandbar, the light tan of the high summer sun ashimmer
Packaged in a white Lake Series custom box.
